Downtown Mission Church loves kids and families.
Our commitment to seeing the local church as a family of families means that our approach towards caring for kids might look a bit different. We want children, from the time they're tethered to mom until they leave for college, to take in the life of the church. Many of us who grew up in the church have memories of people and moments where we saw the Bible being lived out. Our desire is for our kids to have those types of memories, too, as many members of Downtown Mission Church have little ones running around.
While childcare is available for small children during corporate worship, we don't require kids to leave the service. Frankly, we're happy to have them there, noises, potty breaks, and all - even during the message. Your children are never an inconvenience to the Downtown Mission Church family. We're just glad you're all here to know Jesus together.
